Troubleshooting a failed ActiveX Install
Follow the steps below to remove a failed ActiveX Control install
1. Open IE (Internet Explorer)
2. Click on the Tools Menu > Internet Options > “General” Tab > “Settings” button > “View Objects” button.

3. Locate the IEGCtrl Class.
4. Right-click on “IEGCtrl Class” > left click “Remove” and then follow the steps below (if the control doesn't list then continue with the steps below).
5. If the IEGCtrl Class is not listed then the odds are that it never installed and this is usually a Windows Permissions issue.
Users must be at least a "power user" on the local computer to install an ActiveX Control.
Note: If you get a version mismatch with the ActiveX or Loose Windows ActiveX client, damaged install, or the FH Web page fails to start the application, you need to remove the IEGCtrl class from the %SYSTEMROOT%\Downloaded Program Files Folder.
%SYSTEMROOT% is the directory where Windows is installed, Example: Windows or WINNT folder.
6. Download the ActiveX Removal Utility and run it on the affected computer.
7. Launch IE and load the logon.html page from the FH Web Server.
Example: (http://yourserversaddress/fhweb/logon.html)
8. Choose the Windows client and install it. Once it’s installed you can attempt to connect again with the ActiveX Control.
